Alan Bullington
Co-founder & CEO
Alan is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and the Pepperdine University School of Law. He is an NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor and a member of the Kentucky Bar Association. Alan has worked in athlete management since graduating from law school in 2005. In 2008 he started One Degree Sports Management, which grew from two clients to over forty by 2016. That year One Degree and MGC teamed up to create MGC Sports. In addition to his work with athletes, Alan has served on advisory boards for multiple companies, including ONE HOPE Wine & Coffee, K-Tenn Capital, and The Charity Network.

Darius Rucker

Darius first attained multi-platinum status in the music industry as the lead singer of the GRAMMY award-winning band Hootie & the Blowfish. He has since released four solo country albums. All four have debuted at #1 on the Billboard Country albums chart and have collectively produced nine No. 1 singles. Darius won his third GRAMMY award for Best Solo Country Performance in 2014. Darius focuses on helping our clients prepare for and respond to the challenges of notoriety and wealth.

Jay leads a dedicated team of lawyers and professionals committed to the transition and success of professional athletes. He has extensive experience representing players and coaches, focusing on draft preparation, training, marketing, and financial success. Jay is an NFLPA Certified Agent and a member of the National Sports Lawyers Association. He is a founding member and Managing Member of MGC, a regional insurance defense firm. Jay represents businesses and individuals in a variety of matters including contract negotiations, employment matters, business development, and strategic planning.

Mario Tiziani
SVP, Brand Marketing & Strategy
Mario graduated from the University of Wisconsin where he was captain of the golf team, he then played professional golf for 17 years on various tours, including the PGA Tour. Mario’s work at MGC Sports focuses on player development and he’s able to offer a perspective only a former pro can possess.

EVP, Golf
Matt graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology. He then spent six years working for the Callaway and Odyssey Golf Companies as a Pro Tour Representative where his duties included scouting, recruiting, and endorsement contract negotiations. At MGC Sports, Matt focuses on player management and support.

Josh Jones
VP, Football Operations
Josh earned his bachelor’s degree in Consumer Science and master’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Alabama. While at Alabama, he worked as a Student Assistant in the Football Recruiting Office. Alabama won 2 national championships (2012 & 2015) and Josh aided Coach Mario Cristobal to 247 Sports National Recruiter of the Year (2015) during his time with the team. He also worked as a Football Operations Intern for the Philadelphia Eagles during their 2016 Training Camp, as the team started its rebuilding process towards their 2017 Super Bowl-winning season.

Nicole Idowu
EVP, Client Marketing
Nicole holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Texas Tech University and an MBA – the only soccer specific professional degree in the world – from the University of Liverpool. She has had an eclectic career in North America and Europe spanning various industries such as healthcare technology, consulting, operations, and marketing. Nicole is a member of The National Society of Black Sports Professionals, Women in Soccer, and Women in Football. Nicole joined MGC Sports from the U.S. Soccer Federation in 2022 and focuses on expanding our marketing portfolio for our NIL, Professional, and Entertainment clients.

Heather Breen
EVP, Brand Marketing and Partnership Strategy
Heather is a veteran brand marketing executive with 20+ years of industry experience specializing in sports and entertainment sponsorship. Her extensive agency and property background has allowed her to work with extensive roster of brands including American Express, Anheuser-Busch, Delta Airlines, FedEx, Discover Card, Avis, Charles Schwab and Wells Fargo to build innovative integrated marketing strategies. She is considered an industry leader specializing in holistic brand and sponsorship strategy, negotiation and activation across all major leagues, properties and venues. Her career spans a long history in the agency world at Octagon, Momentum Worldwide and MKTG. She also spent five years as a media executive at Condé Nast and was most recently on the property side as Vice President of Marketing Partnerships at Madison Square Garden Companies. Heather splits her time with her husband, Jon, between New York City and Pinehurst, NC.
